A little-known feat: Three bold Brazilians left San Pablo in two Model T Fords in 1928 to draw up plans for the future Pan-American highway uniting the Americas. They arrived in Detroit, Michigan USA in 1937.

Beginning in April of 2008, this feat will be re-enacted by two Ford 250 Pickup Trucks by crossing essentially the same route. The destination will be Model T Club Of America Museum, Richmond, Indiana to participate in the Model T Centennial Celebration in July of 2008.

This 1937 photograph shows the expeditionary Brazilians next to Henry Ford and some other members of the Ford Motor Company.
